SpringHill Suites by Marriott Panama City Beach Beachfront is a 14-story hotel directly on the Gulf at 12513 Front Beach Road, in the central Front Beach Road corridor of Panama City Beach. It opened in 2019 and brings a modern, breezy look to a stretch of beach known for older mid-century motels, with a sleek exterior and direct access to the sand.
The hotel has 200 rooms and suites in the brand’s open, studio-style format, with separate sitting areas that give families and groups extra room. Many rooms have balconies, and the Gulf-facing rooms look straight out over the water. The higher floors of the 14-story building look out over a long stretch of coastline.
The pool deck includes an outdoor pool with a lazy river, a hot tub, and a children’s pool, along with rentable cabanas and fire pits for the evenings. A free buffet breakfast is served every morning. For other meals, the hotel has a bar and grill with al fresco seating, Jelly’s café and eatery, a poolside bar, and a snack bar and deli. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are available on the sand, and the hotel also has a fitness center, meeting space, EV charging stations, fast Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour front desk. The cabanas and fire pits make the pool deck a gathering spot in the evenings.
The neighborhood is one of the busier parts of Front Beach Road. Chateau Beachfront Hotel is next door, the M.B. Miller County Pier and Shipwreck Island Waterpark are close by, and Pier Park is a short drive west. Restaurants, beach bars, and family attractions line the road in both directions, and St. Andrews State Park is an easy drive east. Gulf World Marine Park is a short drive west, and the beach in front of the hotel is wide and busy in summer, with chair and umbrella service available.
SpringHill Suites suits families who want a lazy river and breakfast included, Marriott Bonvoy members who want to stay on the beach, and travelers who prefer a newer building. The suite-style rooms work well for parents traveling with kids, and the pool deck gives the property a resort feel without resort pricing. Its size and meeting space also make it a practical base for sports teams and small groups.
