About
Frisky Mermaid runs dolphin cruises, snorkel and beach-stop trips, and pontoon rentals from Sabine Marina on Pensacola Beach. Dee and Steve Holcomb started the business in 2018, and the Pensacola Beach Chamber named it its 2026 Business of the Year.
Dolphin cruises
- Shared dolphin cruise: 1.5 to 2 hours aboard the 52-foot Frisky Mermaid, which carries up to 49 passengers. $32 for adults (16 and up) and $25 for kids 1 to 15.
- Private dolphin tours: 2 hours, from $295 for up to 6 guests to $1,199 for up to 49.
- Sunset, fireworks and Blue Angels cruises in season.
Snorkel and beach trips
- Secluded beach stop, dolphins and snorkeling: 3 hours, $95 per person semi-private (4-ticket minimum), or private from $395.
- Seas the Mermazing Day: 6 hours with reef snorkeling and a beach stop, $150 per person.
- Half day at Sand Island: a 4-hour trip to the popular sandbar.
Pontoon rentals
Rent a 21- or 24-foot tritoon for up to 10 people, from $295 for 4 hours to $495 for 8 hours, plus fuel. The driver must be 25 or older, and anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, needs a Florida boater safety card. Plan to arrive 45 minutes early for the briefing.

- Hours: daily, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with departures year-round.
- Pets: the company describes itself as pet friendly. Ask when you book.
- Finding it: Sabine Marina is on the sound side at 715 Pensacola Beach Blvd., behind the Sandbar.
