Continental Condominiums

Continental Condominiums is a low-rise Gulf-front complex at 15413 Front Beach Road, less than half a mile east of Pier Park in Panama City Beach. Dating from 1976, it is one of the long-standing beachfront buildings in the heart of town, and every condo faces the Gulf with a private balcony. Gulf World Marine Park sits across the street.

The complex has about 111 units in several floor plans, from studios of roughly 370 to 410 square feet up to one-bedroom units and a few larger two-bedroom condos. All units have complete kitchens, and the smaller plans are practical for couples and short stays. Reservations are available by the night, week or month.

Amenities are simple and beach-focused. There is a heated community pool on the Gulf side, a game room, an owners’ lounge, a grilling station, community Wi-Fi and elevator access, plus covered and open parking. Flippers, an on-site bar and grill, serves food and drinks close to the pool. Utilities, cable and internet are covered by the association, and on-site staff manage access control around the clock. The building’s age shows in its simple design, but most owners have updated their units.

The location is the main selling point. Pier Park’s shops, restaurants and the Russell-Fields City Pier are a short walk or bike ride west, and Gulf World is right across Front Beach Road. Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant is within walking distance, and Aaron Bessant Park and Frank Brown Park are a quick drive. The airport is roughly 14 miles away.

Units at Continental are individually owned and rented through their owners and several rental companies, so furnishings, bed layouts, parking rules and extras such as seasonal beach chair service vary from one unit to the next. It suits couples, budget-minded families and longer winter stays for guests who value a walkable, central location over resort extras.
