Treasure Island Resort

Treasure Island Resort is a 23-story Gulf-front condominium tower at 5004 Thomas Drive, near the east end of Panama City Beach. Completed in 2005, it has about 263 units, and every one faces the Gulf with a private balcony. St. Andrews State Park, Schooners and Patches Pub are all within walking distance.

Units are mostly two- and three-bedroom plans. Two-bedroom condos are about 1,220 to 1,380 square feet and three-bedroom units about 2,000 square feet, with a small number of one-bedroom plans. Condos have full kitchens and in-unit laundry, and parking is in a covered garage.

The pool deck includes a Gulf-front pool, a hot tub and a seasonally heated lagoon-style pool, and there is a fitness center, a game room, an owners’ lounge and a dog walk area. A poolside bar and snack counter operates from March through October. An on-site rental agency manages many units and offers guest perks, and Wi-Fi and streaming TV are provided throughout. Its location near the park and the lagoon makes it easy to split a day between the beach, a boat trip and dinner by the water.

St. Andrews State Park is about a 15-minute walk for hiking, snorkeling and the Shell Island shuttle, and Schooners, Patches Pub and Capt. Anderson’s are close for dinner. Pirate cruises and dive trips leave from the Grand Lagoon marinas nearby. Pier Park and the central attractions are a drive west.

Units at Treasure Island are individually owned and rented through their owners and several rental companies, so furnishings, bed layouts, parking rules and extras such as seasonal beach chair service vary from one unit to the next. The Gulf views from every unit and walkable location near the park suit families and couples who want the quieter east end.
