Days Inn by Wyndham Pensacola I-10 is at 8060 Lavelle Way, among the hotels just off Pine Forest Road at Interstate 10 exit 7. Some sites list it as Days Inn by Wyndham Pensacola West. Expedia puts Five Flags Speedway about two miles away, Uncle Sandy’s Macaw Bird Park about five miles away and the John R. Jones Jr. Athletic Complex about five and a half miles away, with Pensacola International Airport about 13 minutes by car.
The two-story hotel has 93 rooms with exterior access. Amenities are simple: an outdoor pool open from morning to evening, free WiFi, a business center, a guest laundry and barbecue grills on the grounds. A 24 hour front desk is on hand for late arrivals off the interstate.
Parking is free, including spaces for RVs, buses and trucks. Pets are accepted, up to two per room under a weight limit, for a nightly fee.
A Starbucks is about three minutes away by car, and a McDonald’s is within walking distance, along with the other restaurants on Pine Forest Road. The Days Inn is a budget option for race fans, sports families, construction crews and Interstate 10 travelers who need a room, a pool for the kids and space to park a work truck or trailer. The beaches at Perdido Key and Pensacola Beach are each about 30 minutes away.
