Extended Stay America Select Suites – Pensacola – Northwest is at 2310 West Detroit Boulevard, just off Interstate 10 exit 7 beside the Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn. The property was built in 2006 and operated as a WoodSpring Suites before joining Extended Stay America’s Select Suites line, and some booking sites still use the old name. Expedia lists Five Flags Speedway about a mile and a half away and University Town Plaza about seven miles away, with Pensacola International Airport about 17 minutes by car.
The four-story building has 120 suites. Each has a kitchen with a refrigerator, a stovetop and a microwave, plus a dining table and a work space for a laptop. The hotel has a guest laundry and laundry service, free WiFi and free uncovered parking. There is no pool, breakfast or restaurant.
Dogs and cats are allowed, up to two per suite, for a nightly fee.
The location is in a business district near the Ensley neighborhood, close to the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, the Pine Forest shopping centers and the Shoppes at Milestone. It suits contractors, relocating families and anyone who wants a basic kitchen suite by the week. Expedia also points to the Pensacola Bay Center and DeLuna Lanes bowling for a night out, and the University of West Florida is a quick drive up the interstate.
