Red Roof Inn & Suites Pensacola – NAS Corry is at 4 North New Warrington Road in Warrington, beside the Interstate 110 approach to Corry Station and the Navy base. Expedia lists Naval Air Station Pensacola about three and a half miles away, the Saenger Theatre about four and a half miles away and Warrington Village Shopping Center an eight minute walk. Perdido Key’s beaches are about 18 miles west.
The three-story hotel opened in 2000 and has 70 rooms, including suites, some with kitchens or kitchenettes. A free continental breakfast is served each morning, and the climate-controlled indoor pool is usable year round. There is a guest laundry and free WiFi.
Parking is free. The pet policy is generous: up to two dogs or cats per room with a high weight limit, for a nightly fee.
The combination of an indoor pool, breakfast and a pet-friendly policy makes this one of the more practical budget choices near the base, especially for families visiting a sailor in training or attending a graduation. Pensacola International Airport is about 13 minutes by car, and downtown Pensacola is a short drive east for dinner. The Motel 6 and the Baymont share the same corner, and Navy Boulevard’s restaurants and shops are a minute away. Suites give families a bit more space for longer visits, and the kitchenettes help cut down on restaurant meals.
