Hampton Inn Panama City Beach is on Thomas Drive at the Grand Lagoon end of the beach, a three-story, 89-room Hilton hotel built in 2001. Pirate’s Cove Marina, Captain Anderson’s Marina and Treasure Island Marina are all within about half a mile, which puts dinner cruises, fishing charters and Shell Island shuttles close at hand. The Gulf is about a mile south, and St. Andrews State Park is a short drive east.
Rooms come in king, two-queen and king suite layouts. A free hot breakfast is served daily, and the outdoor pool has loungers and umbrellas. There is a fitness center, a 24-hour business center, lobby coffee and tea, and meeting space. The front desk can help with tours and tickets.
Self parking is available for a daily fee, and there is EV charging on site. Dogs and cats are allowed, two per room up to 75 pounds each, for a one-time fee that rises for stays of five nights or more.
It is a good fit for anglers and boaters, families planning a day at St. Andrews State Park or Shell Island, and anyone who wants to be near the seafood restaurants and nightlife on Thomas Drive while staying off the busiest part of Front Beach Road. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about a half hour drive, and Naval Support Activity Panama City is within walking distance.
