Ballet Pensacola

Ballet Pensacola has been developing Northwest Florida’s appreciation of dance since 1978, and it is the region’s only resident professional ballet company. Each season brings a mix of classical and contemporary choreography, a holiday Nutcracker, and performances in schools, at festivals and at community events, with an academy that trains young dancers alongside the company.

The 2026–27 season includes Frankenstein, a new production choreographed by Gonzalo Galguera. The Nutcracker returns to the Saenger Theatre on Palafox Street December 18–20, 2026, and Alice in Wonderland closes the season in spring 2027.

Nutcracker tickets are sold only through Ticketmaster and the Saenger Theatre box office, so avoid third-party resellers. Tickets for the other productions and season subscriptions are available through the ballet’s website. For families with dancers, Ballet Pensacola’s academy has opened registration for 2026–27 classes, which are open to all students who meet the minimum age requirements, and academy students can perform with the professional company and in a student showcase.
