About

The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra is the city’s professional orchestra, with a season of classical concerts, guest soloists and community performances. Maestro Peter Rubardt, the orchestra’s music director, is in his 30th season on the podium in 2026–27.

The orchestra’s office is at 205 E Zaragoza St, Pensacola, FL 32502; call 850-435-2533 or visit pensacolasymphony.com. Main-series concerts are performed at the historic Saenger Theatre on Palafox Street, the downtown stage the symphony shares with Pensacola Opera and Ballet Pensacola. The 2026–27 season opens on October 3, 2026, with a program of Dvořák, Tchaikovsky and Ravel, and the orchestra promises beautiful music and spectacular guest artists through the year.

For a low-cost introduction, the symphony opens some dress rehearsals to the public at $10 general admission (as of September 2026). Season subscribers can save through the Subscribe & Save program, and single-concert tickets are sold through the website, where prices vary by concert and seat. The orchestra also gives free community performances during the year, so watch its calendar if you’re traveling on a budget. The website lists the full season, subscription options and each concert’s program.
