About
The Miramar Beach Regional Beach Access (access #49) is the main public way onto the sand in Miramar Beach, run by Walton County next to Pompano Joe’s on Scenic Gulf Drive. It’s a good option if you’re staying off the beach or visiting for the day.
Facilities
- Free parking, though spaces are limited
- ADA restrooms and an accessible boardwalk
- Beach wheelchairs and a water fountain
- Lifeguards in season, and beach condition flags
Good to know
- Arrive early: the lot fills quickly on summer days.
- Parking fees: Walton County’s paid parking, which began in April 2026, applies only to three other lots, not this one.
- Rules: Walton County beach rules apply, including no dogs on the beach and no glass.
- Another option: the Scenic Gulf Drive Regional Access at 907 Scenic Gulf Drive has restrooms and a picnic pavilion.
