The marina puts the boats within easy running distance of the bays, grass flats, passes, and nearshore structure that draw anglers to this stretch of the Gulf Coast, and the crew also fishes out of Pensacola and Orange Beach.

The combined fleet has four boats, which is what lets the company match the boat to the trip instead of the other way around. Two 25-foot Blackjack bay boats take up to four anglers each on shorter inshore and nearshore trips of three to six hours, the easy choice for families or anyone who wants to stay in calmer water. A 35-foot Contender with triple outboards carries up to six anglers on offshore runs of five to twelve hours, including deep-drop trips. The 42-foot Yellowfin, also set up for six anglers, handles offshore trips of six to eight hours for groups chasing snapper, grouper, and amberjack well off the beach.

The captains are a mix of long local roots and newer additions. Captain Rick Durant was born and raised in Pensacola and played professional baseball before turning to charter fishing. His son, Captain Jake Durant, grew up working on his father’s boat and earned his own captain’s license after college; together the Durants have more than 30 years of professional fishing on Pensacola’s Gulf waters and inland waterways. Captain Jeff McNew came to Pensacola in 2020 after years of marsh and offshore fishing in southeast Louisiana, and he and Captain Clay Hinton joined the operation in January 2026 along with two more boats. As a rule, Jake runs the Blackjacks, Rick runs the Contender, and Jeff runs the Yellowfin.

Inshore trips target redfish, flounder, sheepshead, and tarpon. Offshore, the boats go after red and vermilion snapper, grouper, triggerfish, amberjack, and cobia, with the captains adjusting the route and target species to the season, the conditions, and what the group on board wants to catch.
