Café NOLA brings New Orleans cooking to the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk on Pensacola Beach. You order at the bar, then take your food out to a deck overlooking the calm water of Santa Rosa Sound.
What to order
- Seafood gumbo: a Best of the Bay winner. Try the three-gumbo sampler.
- Po’boys on bread from Gambino’s in New Orleans.
- Crawfish étouffée, red beans and rice, charbroiled oysters, BBQ shrimp and boudin balls.
- Beignets for dessert, or for Sunday brunch.
Good to know
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Happy hour runs weekdays from 2 to 6 p.m.
- Bar: a full bar with a big Abita beer selection.
- Getting there: it’s upstairs in one of the older buildings on the boardwalk, with no elevator.
- Nearby: Quietwater Beach, the ferry landing and the dolphin cruises are right outside.
