McGuire’s Irish Pub Destin

McGuire’s Irish Pub opened its Destin location in 1996 on the Destin Harbor, nearly two decades after the original pub in Pensacola. It is the same formula: a turn-of-the-century New York Irish saloon with dark wood and brass, Irish pub fare next to USDA Prime steaks, house-brewed ales and stouts, and the McGuire’s signature of signed dollar bills covering the ceilings and walls.

What to expect

• The main pub seats about 500 across several themed rooms
• The Deck upstairs seats about 150 with views over the Destin Harbor
• Live Irish entertainment nightly: 8 p.m. to midnight Sunday to Wednesday, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday to Saturday
• Sunday brunch with entertainment

Good to know

• Hours: Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. The kitchen stays open until 2 a.m. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
• Waits: expect a wait on summer weekends; the bar is the easiest place to grab a seat.
