Innerlight calls itself “The Surfer’s Surf Shop,” and it has the history to back it up. Yancy Spencer III, who won the 1975 U.S. Pro Championship and joined the East Coast Surfing Hall of Fame, started the business in Gulf Breeze in 1969. It’s still family run, and this store at Destin Commons is one of three.
