Atwell Suites Panama City Beach Southeast occupies the former Comfort Suites building on Richard Jackson Boulevard, a side street between Front Beach Road and the parkway. The three-story hotel has 74 suites. The Gulf is under a mile away, Shipwreck Island Waterpark is about a mile, WonderWorks is two miles and Pier Park is roughly three miles west.
Atwell is IHG’s newer all-suite brand, and the studios and one-bedroom suites here have wet bars with mini fridges and microwaves, standing desks and separate space to spread out. A free breakfast is served each morning, and bean-to-cup coffee, espresso and still and sparkling water are available at all hours. The lobby bar serves canned cocktails and light bites. There is an outdoor pool and a fitness center.
Parking is free for registered guests. Dogs and cats up to 30 pounds are accepted, two per suite, for a nightly fee, and the minimum check-in age is 21. Restaurants and a coffee shop are within walking distance, and the M.B. Miller County Pier is under two miles away. There is a small meeting room, and the rooms are designed with separate zones for sleeping, working and lounging.
It suits couples and small families who want a suite, a relaxed lobby to end the day and a location central to the waterpark, the attractions on Front Beach Road and the beach.
