Baymont by Wyndham Pensacola at NAS Corry is at 3 New Warrington Road in Warrington, next to the Red Roof Inn and Motel 6 near Corry Station. The building was previously the Quality Inn N.A.S.-Corry and changed to the Baymont brand recently, with remodeling under way. Expedia lists Naval Air Station Pensacola about three and a half miles away, the Saenger Theatre about four and a half miles away and Warrington Village Shopping Center about half a mile away.
The three-story hotel has 100 rooms. A free to-go breakfast is available in the morning, and the property has a restaurant and a bar with a lounge, which is unusual among the budget hotels near the base. There is also a 24 hour gym, a business center and a guest laundry, with free WiFi.
Parking is free and includes room for RVs, buses and trucks. The hotel accepts one pet per room under a weight limit for a daily fee.
The Baymont suits military families and visitors, road crews and budget travelers who want a meal and a drink on site after a long day. Perdido Key’s beaches are about 18 miles west, and Pensacola International Airport is about 21 minutes by car. Given the ongoing remodel, it is worth checking recent traveler photos before booking to see which rooms have been updated.
