Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Pensacola West, FL is at 2607 Wilde Lake Boulevard, a side street off Pine Forest Road near Interstate 10 exit 7. Expedia lists Five Flags Speedway about a mile away, Uncle Sandy’s Macaw Bird Park about five miles away, the John R. Jones Jr. Athletic Complex about five miles away and Pensacola International Airport about 12 minutes by car. The hotel is marketed through Choice Hotels as well as Radisson.
The four-story building has 63 rooms, each with a microwave and refrigerator. It is one of the few west side hotels with an indoor pool, and there is also a hot tub, a fitness center and a small library area in the lobby, a signature of the Country Inn brand. A lounge bar is open around the clock. A free on-the-go breakfast is served each morning, with later hours on weekends, and there is a guest laundry.
Parking is free. Dogs and cats are accepted, up to two per room under a weight limit, with a nightly fee and a refundable deposit.
The indoor pool and hot tub make this a comfortable pick for race weekends and sports tournaments in the cooler months, and the smaller size gives it a calmer feel than the bigger interchange hotels. Restaurants on Pine Forest Road are a couple of minutes away, and the beaches are about 30 minutes south.
