Hidden Dunes Panama City Beach

Hidden Dunes is a 19-story Gulf-front condominium tower at 7115 Thomas Drive, on the quieter east end of Panama City Beach near Rick Seltzer Park. Completed in 2000, it has about 91 units, a low count for its height, which means spacious floor plans and a relaxed pool deck.

The condos are large. Two-bedroom units are around 1,370 square feet, three-bedroom plans run about 2,300 to 2,700 square feet, and four-bedroom units reach roughly 3,300 square feet. Units have panoramic Gulf views from their balconies, full kitchens and in-unit laundry, and they are well suited to extended families.

The owners’ lounge and community room are useful for family gatherings, a clubhouse and community storage are on site, and security staff manage access to the building around the clock. Utilities and internet are covered by the association.

Rick Seltzer Park, a public beach park with parking and restrooms, is about a six-minute walk. St. Andrews State Park is around seven minutes east for hiking, snorkeling and the Shell Island shuttle, and Schooners, Treasure Island Seafood Market and a Publix are close. The restaurants and marinas along Grand Lagoon are also nearby.

Units at Hidden Dunes are individually owned and rented through their owners and several rental companies, so furnishings, bed layouts, parking rules and extras such as seasonal beach chair service vary from one unit to the next. Its very large floor plans and small building size make it a fit for multigenerational trips and families who want more room than a typical condo.
