Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Downtown

Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Downtown opened in August 2023 at 8 South 9th Avenue, on the eastern side of downtown near where 9th Avenue meets Bayfront Parkway. Some rooms and common areas look out toward Pensacola Bay and Veterans Memorial Park.

The four-story building has 102 rooms, including king rooms and rooms with two queens. Rooms have a Keurig coffee maker, an ergonomic work desk and streaming on the TV, and Hilton’s digital key lets guests go straight to the room from the app. Meeting rooms and a business center cover work trips and small events. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and checkout at 11 a.m.

The on-site restaurant and bar serves breakfast, which is available for a fee, along with made to order dinners, small plates and cocktails in the evening. Outside there is a year-round outdoor pool and a patio with a fire pit, and inside there is a fitness center. The lobby has casual seating around the bar, which doubles as a meeting spot before heading out to dinner downtown. Self parking is available on site for a daily fee. Dogs and cats are welcome for a pet fee, with a limit of two pets per room.

The walk into the heart of downtown is manageable. Seville Square and the Pensacola Bay Center, home of the Pensacola Ice Flyers hockey team and a busy concert calendar, are each roughly an eight-minute walk, and Historic Pensacola Village and the Saenger Theatre are about 14 minutes on foot. Veterans Memorial Park and the bayfront trail are right nearby for a morning walk or run. Blue Wahoos Stadium is a short drive to the west, and Pensacola International Airport is about 12 miles away, with no airport shuttle, so plan on a rideshare or rental car.
