Homewood Suites by Hilton Panama City Beach opened in 2022 on Chip Seal Parkway, just off US 98 and next door to Publix Sports Park, the city’s large youth sports complex. The four-story hotel has 131 suites. ZooWorld is about two miles away, WonderWorks and Thomas Drive are around three, and the Gulf beaches are roughly a five minute drive south.
Studios and one-bedroom suites all include kitchens, and the hotel has barbecue grills, a fire pit, a basketball court and a sports field on the grounds. A free hot breakfast is served daily, and a complimentary evening reception is offered Monday through Thursday. There is an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a business center and meeting rooms for up to 35 people.
Self parking is free. Up to two pets are allowed per suite for a one-time fee for shorter stays, with a higher flat fee for longer visits. Check-in is at 3 pm. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 20 miles away, and Shipwreck Island Waterpark and the M.B. Miller County Pier are both within five miles.
The hotel is a natural base for families in town for tournaments at Publix Sports Park, and it also works for longer stays and relocating families who want a kitchen and a quieter address a few minutes from the beach.
