Indigo East & West

Indigo East & West is a gated condominium community on the east end of Perdido Key, set on about seven landscaped acres at 13621 Perdido Key Drive. The two towers share roughly 500 feet of Gulf beachfront, and the site sits a little over a mile from Johnson Beach and the Gulf Islands National Seashore, where the road ends and the island turns into protected dunes and open sand.

The East building holds 106 residences and the West building holds 71, for a total of about 177 condos. Floor plans run from two bedrooms up to four bedrooms, with a handful of penthouses on the upper floors of the roughly 21 story towers. Many units have private elevator entry foyers, and most look straight out over the Gulf through floor to ceiling glass. Some West units come with a private poolside cabana.

The shared grounds are built around a large zero-entry, free-form pool with a separate children’s pool and an oversized hot tub. Owners and guests also have tennis courts, a fitness center, locker rooms with steam and sauna, a small private theater, grilling areas with a gazebo, and sheltered parking. A boardwalk crosses the dunes to the sand. The campus is non-smoking and does not allow pets.

Every condo at Indigo is individually owned and rented through its owner or through one of several rental companies, so furnishings, minimum stays, parking passes and extras such as seasonal beach chair service vary from unit to unit. Nearby, Publix and island restaurants are a short drive west, Lost Key Golf Club is about two miles away, and the Flora-Bama is roughly five miles down Perdido Key Drive.
