Perdido Towers

Perdido Towers is a Gulf-front condominium complex at 16785 Perdido Key Drive, on the far west end of Perdido Key about a mile east of the Alabama state line. The property stretches from the Gulf of Mexico back to Old River, with about 500 feet of beachfront on the Gulf side and boating facilities on the river side.

Built in 1984, the complex has buildings of about 34 units each, with two elevators per building and seven floor plans. Units are two and three bedroom condos ranging from just over 1,000 square feet to more than 1,800 square feet. Each unit has a private balcony, and many open onto the Gulf.

Shared amenities include a seasonally heated outdoor pool near the beach, tennis courts, a fitness room, a community room and grilling areas. For boaters and anglers there are boat docks and slips, a boat launch, trailer storage, a fishing pier and a fish cleaning station. Building entry is keypad protected, and many units have semi-private entrances. Tents are not permitted on the beach in front of the complex.

All condos at Perdido Towers are individually owned and rented through owners and several rental companies, so parking passes, pet rules, furnishings and beach service can vary. Check each listing to confirm what is included, especially if you plan to bring a boat.

The Flora-Bama and its marina are less than a mile west, and Johnson Beach and Big Lagoon State Park are about a 15 minute drive east. Orange Beach and Gulf Shores restaurants and attractions are a short drive over the state line. Perdido Towers suits fishing families and groups who want a Gulf-front stay on a quieter section of the key with easy access to the calm waters of Old River.
