Red Roof Inn Panama City Beach

Red Roof Inn Panama City Beach is the former Executive Inn at 9424 Front Beach Road, a two-story, 60-room motel that completed a full renovation in December 2025 before reopening under the Red Roof flag. It sits on the inland stretch of Front Beach Road near the Thomas Drive intersection. Cobra Adventure Park is next door, ZooWorld and Ripley’s Believe It or Not are under half a mile, and the beach is about a mile away.

Rooms have microwaves, mini refrigerators, flat screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. There is a seasonal outdoor pool, coin laundry and complimentary coffee in the lobby, and the front desk is staffed around the clock. The two-story layout means exterior entry to most rooms, handy for unloading beach gear, and HBO is included with the cable package.

Parking is free. Red Roof’s pet policy is one of the more generous on the beach: one well-behaved cat or dog stays free, and a second pet up to 80 pounds is allowed for a small nightly charge, capped at a week. Shipwreck Island Waterpark is about two miles west, and Pier Park is a 10 to 15 minute drive.

This is a budget-minded base for families spending their days at the attractions on Front Beach Road and Thomas Drive, and for travelers with a dog who want a simple, freshly updated room.
