Residence Inn Panama City Beach Pier Park opened in 2024 as a 121-suite extended-stay hotel developed by The St. Joe Company. It fronts Panama City Beach Parkway next to Frank Brown Park and across from Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show, and Pier Park’s shops, restaurants and SkyWheel are about half a mile away. The Gulf and Russell-Fields Pier are roughly a mile south.

Studios and one and two bedroom suites all have separate living and sleeping areas, a work desk and a full kitchen, which makes this a practical base for longer stays and families who want to cook. A free hot breakfast buffet runs every morning, with later hours on weekends. Outside there is a pool, a fire pit with a grill grate and seating for evenings.

Other amenities include a fitness center, guest laundry, a small market, a bar and meeting space. Parking is on site for a daily fee. Dogs are welcome for a one-time fee per stay, with up to two pets per suite. The front desk is staffed around the clock, and housekeeping visits every other day, which is typical for longer stays. There is no airport shuttle, and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 20 minutes away.

The location works well for tournament families at Frank Brown Park and the nearby sports complex, as well as visitors who want to walk to Pier Park for dinner and drive a minute to the beach.
