Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort sits on the Gulf at 17403 Front Beach Road, just west of the Highway 79 intersection and about two miles west of Pier Park. There is also an ice cream and frozen yogurt shop, a deli, and a gift shop for sunscreen and forgotten beach gear. The resort is pet friendly for small dogs up to 25 pounds for an added fee. It also has three meeting rooms with about 5,000 square feet of space, which works well for family reunions, school groups, and other group trips that want to stay together. The front desk and guest services operate around the clock, every day of the year.
