TownePlace Suites Pensacola is at 481 Creighton Road, between the Courtyard and the SpringHill Suites on a block of Marriott hotels near University Town Plaza. It is Marriott’s extended-stay option on this side of town, and Pensacola International Airport is about three miles away.
Every room is a suite with a full kitchen, so guests can shop at the nearby grocery stores and cook instead of eating out every night. Marriott lists a free hot breakfast each morning, an outdoor pool and an on-site fitness center, with complimentary parking in the hotel lot.
This is one of the more generous pet policies in the area. The hotel welcomes up to two pets per suite with a high weight limit, for a nonrefundable deposit. There is no airport shuttle, so a car or rideshare is needed for the short trip to the terminal.
Marriott points to Naval Air Station Pensacola, the University of West Florida, University Town Plaza and Ascension Sacred Heart as nearby destinations, which reflects the mix of military families, visiting faculty, medical staff and project workers who book stays of a week or longer here. It also suits vacationing families who want a kitchen and space for kids after a day at the beach, which is about half an hour away by car. Restaurants and shopping on North Davis Highway are a couple of minutes from the door.
