Tru by Hilton Pensacola Airport Medical Center

Tru by Hilton Pensacola Airport Medical Center opened in 2023 at 5109 Bayou Boulevard, near Interstate 10 exit 12 and about a mile from Cordova Mall. It shares a dual-brand building with Home2 Suites by Hilton, with the Tru side offering standard rooms rather than kitchen suites. Hilton describes the location as close to several eateries, most within walking distance, and lists Pensacola International Airport, Baptist Hospital and the city center each about two miles away.

Tru is Hilton’s lively, budget-minded brand, and the common spaces reflect that. The lobby includes a game zone, work pods and a 24 hour market, and outside there is a fire pit patio with grills and an outdoor pool. Breakfast is included, with a free hot spread each morning, and a 24/7 fitness center is on site. Independent listings put the Tru at about 76 rooms.

Self-parking is free, with four electric vehicle charging stations. The hotel welcomes up to two pets per room for a nonrefundable fee. There is no airport shuttle.

The Tru works well for younger travelers, sports families and business visitors to the Airport Boulevard medical and office corridor who want a newer room, breakfast and free parking without paying for a restaurant or meeting space they will not use. Downtown Pensacola is a short drive south, and the Gulf beaches are about half an hour away.
