Twin Palms

Twin Palms is a 21-story Gulf-front condominium tower at 10519 Front Beach Road in central Panama City Beach. Built in 2004, it has fewer than 100 units, which gives it a quieter, less hurried feel than the large resorts nearby, and it sits on roughly 200 feet of beach.

The building offers one-bedroom units of about 825 square feet and two-bedroom plans of roughly 1,150 to 1,180 square feet. Units have full kitchens, washer and dryer and private balconies with Gulf views. Parking is in a gated garage, and some rental companies include parking passes and wristbands with a booking.

Amenities include a large outdoor Gulf-side pool and an indoor heated pool, two hot tubs (one indoor and one outdoor), a fitness center with a sauna and steam room, a picnic area with barbecue grills and a dog walk area. Security staff control access to the building, and seasonal beach service with chairs and an umbrella is included with some short-term rentals. Utilities, internet and cable are included by the association, and pets are allowed in the building subject to each owner’s policy.

The Shoppes at Edgewater and Saltwater Grill are about a mile away, and the M.B. Miller County Pier, Shipwreck Island Waterpark and the Front Beach Road attractions are a short drive. Pier Park is to the west, and St. Andrews State Park is to the east for hiking, snorkeling and the ferry to Shell Island. The airport is about 30 minutes away.

Units at Twin Palms are individually owned and rented through their owners and several rental companies, so furnishings, bed layouts, parking rules and extras such as seasonal beach chair service vary from one unit to the next. The indoor pool and smaller scale make it a comfortable option for couples, small families and winter visitors.
