WoodSpring Suites Pensacola West is at 8973 Pine Forest Road, north of Interstate 10 exit 7 on the road toward Nine Mile Road. The four-story building opened in 2024 and has 121 rooms, which makes it one of the newest extended-stay options on Pensacola’s west side. Expedia lists Five Flags Speedway about two miles away, Uncle Sandy’s Macaw Bird Park about five miles away and Pensacola International Airport about 18 minutes by car.
Every room has a full kitchen with a refrigerator and freezer, a two-burner cooktop and a microwave, which is the core of the WoodSpring format. The hotel adds a 24 hour fitness center, a guest laundry that is open around the clock and free hot coffee in the lobby. WiFi is free in public areas. There is no pool, no breakfast and no restaurant, which keeps rates geared to weekly stays.
Parking is free. Up to two pets are allowed under a weight limit, with a refundable deposit and a fee per pet.
WoodSpring is aimed at guests staying a week or longer, such as construction and utility crews, traveling medical staff and families in the middle of a move. Pine Forest Road has grocery stores and restaurants nearby, and the interstate is a few minutes south for trips across town or west to Mobile. Newer construction means the rooms and hallways are in fresh condition.
