Shoreline Towers

Shoreline Towers is a condominium community on Gulf Shore Drive at the eastern end of Holiday Isle in Destin. It combines three 12-story towers with a set of two-story townhomes beside a small lake. Towers I and II stand directly on the Gulf, while Tower III and the townhomes sit behind them with Gulf or lake views.

The towers date to 1976 and the townhomes to 1981, with about 215 units across the community, according to association and county records compiled by Emerald Coast Condo Map. Rentals include two-bedroom, two-bathroom units that sleep six and three-bedroom, two-bathroom units that sleep eight, in both high-rise and townhome layouts. Guests who want a unit directly on the beach should look for Tower I or II.

Shared amenities include a pool, a sauna, a workout room, shuffleboard, tennis courts, pickleball courts and gated entry. The association announced a waterproofing project running from mid-September into April, so off-season guests may notice work on the buildings.

The location at the Highway 98 end of Holiday Isle keeps much of Destin within easy reach. Big Kahuna’s Water and Adventure Park, shopping and many restaurants are a short drive east on Highway 98, and the Destin Harbor, HarborWalk Village and the charter fishing fleet are a few minutes west.

Shoreline Towers suits families and groups on a budget who want resort-style extras such as tennis, pickleball and a sauna along with a large choice of units. The mix of Gulf-front towers and lakeside townhomes also lets groups traveling together pick different layouts within the same community.
