TownePlace Suites Miramar Beach Destin is a four-story, 100-suite Marriott extended-stay hotel on Scenic Gulf Drive, just south of US 98 in Miramar Beach. It is one of the newer hotels in the area, a short walk from Silver Sands Premium Outlets and about a five-minute walk from the Gulf at Miramar Beach.
Suites have kitchenettes with a stovetop, microwave and dishwasher, making it easy to cook breakfast or pack a beach lunch. A continental breakfast is included each morning, and there is a seasonal outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center and guest laundry. Wi-Fi is free, and pets are welcome for a per-stay fee per pet.
Silver Sands Premium Outlets, a large outlet center, is about a three-minute walk, and a Starbucks and Chick-fil-A are within a few minutes on foot. Sandestin’s golf courses and the Village of Baytowne Wharf are about two miles east, Destin Commons is a short drive west, and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is about 40 minutes by car.
It suits families on week-long beach vacations, shoppers, and travelers on extended work stays who want a kitchen close to the beach without a Gulf-front price. Suites give separate space for sleeping and working, and the laundry room and kitchenette make it practical for a longer stay, whether that is a two-week family vacation or a work assignment along the coast.
