La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Miramar Beach-Destin is on US 98 at the western edge of Miramar Beach, between Destin Commons and Silver Sands Premium Outlets. The four-story hotel opened in 2020 and has 126 rooms, each with a flat-screen television, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
The free Bright Side Breakfast is served every morning. There is also an on-site bar open in the afternoon and evening, plus the Bright Side Market for snacks. Outside is a seasonal pool, open roughly March through October, and a fire pit. The hotel also has a fitness center, guest laundry and a business center. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Up to two dogs or cats are allowed for a nightly fee.
The Gulf accesses of Miramar Beach are about a ten-minute walk south, and restaurants line US 98 in both directions. Destin Commons and Silver Sands are each a few minutes’ drive, Henderson Beach State Park is about three and a half miles west, and Sandestin is about four miles east. Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is roughly 19 miles away.
It suits families and couples who want a newer hotel within walking distance of the beach, and travelers with pets. The fire pit is a relaxed spot to end the evening, and the bar saves a drive after dinner. Rooms are non-smoking throughout.
