TownePlace Suites Panama City is a three-story, 103-suite extended-stay hotel on East 23rd Place, next door to the Courtyard in north Panama City. The 23rd Street corridor’s restaurants and shops are steps away, Linos Park is under a mile, Gulf Coast State College is about seven miles and the Panama City Beach sand is roughly 20 minutes by car.
Every suite has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and stovetop, so it works well for long work assignments and relocating families. A free breakfast buffet is served each morning, with later hours on weekends. Outside there is a pool and a barbecue area with seating, and inside there is a 24-hour fitness center, a business center and guest laundry.
Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Up to two pets of 50 pounds each are allowed for a one-time fee. Suites have separate areas for sleeping and working, and the outdoor pool is open from early morning until 11 pm.
The hotel is a practical choice for traveling nurses and medical staff near the hospitals, contractors and military families connected to Tyndall Air Force Base, and anyone who needs a kitchen and a quiet in-town address for a week or more. Port Panama City and downtown are about 15 minutes away, and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is a drive of a little under 40 minutes.
