About

Floriopolis is a nonprofit arts and culture space in Historic St. Andrews, describing itself as an “Arts & Culture Metropolis” with a gallery, market, studio and courtyard. After Hurricane Michael destroyed its original home in 2018, the organization rebuilt a block away, and it reopened at its current Beck Avenue location in 2020 in a space about a quarter the size of the old one, renovated by volunteers and artists.

Floriopolis is at 1131 Beck Ave, Panama City, FL 32401, with a back gate at 2528 W 10th St; the phone is 850-249-9295. The organization posts news and events on its Facebook page rather than a standalone website.

On Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm, Floriopolis holds a free, drop-in open house (donations welcome), a good time to see the space and meet the people behind it. It’s also a hub for neighborhood arts events: it hosts a monthly arts luncheon and helped present St. Andrews’ annual Art Break Day on September 4, 2026, when participants could stop by to paint a bag and follow a map of art stops around the neighborhood. In 2026 it also served as a drop-off site where artists could have their work photographed for the SOAR 2026 program. Pair a visit with a walk around St. Andrews, where several stops on Panama City’s Mural Trail are close by.
