Justin Gaffrey Gallery

Justin Gaffrey Gallery in Blue Mountain Beach is the home base of Justin Gaffrey, a self-taught painter and sculptor known for thick, textured “sculptural paintings” inspired by the Gulf Coast. Visit South Walton notes that he taught himself by exploring the techniques of Van Gogh and Monet. He developed his own sculptural acrylic painting medium and founded Gaffrey Art Material to share it with other artists.

The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10am–6pm, and hosts live events and exhibitions through the year. Gaffrey releases new bodies of work regularly: 2026 collections include ARCADIA, Sunflowers & Seascapes and Abstract Floral Studies, following 2025’s LIMINAL ~ Spaces In Between and Native Species of 30A. He has also published a second volume of his Sculptural Painting book. The texture of his work is best appreciated in person, where the raised paint catches the light, so it’s worth a stop even if you’re just browsing on a drive along 30A.
