Panama City Mural Trail

The Panama City Mural Trail links more than 15 murals, with more to come, across the city’s historic neighborhoods. It grew out of Bay Arts Alliance’s vision of “Art on Every Corner” and was developed with community leaders, turning building walls in Historic Downtown Panama City and Historic St. Andrews into a free, open-air gallery.

The trail is centered in Historic Downtown Panama City and Historic St. Andrews, Panama City, FL 32401, with more murals elsewhere in the city. Destination Panama City’s website (destinationpanamacity.com/mural-trail) has the mural list and locations. Bay Arts Alliance, based at 19 E 4th St, commissions murals through its Mural Project.

The artists range from local painters to visiting muralists, including San Francisco-based Cameron Moberg, Heather Clements, Christon Anderson, Joyful Enriquez, Paul Brent, Morgan Summers, Heather Parker and Logan Flint. The Water Tower mural was Panama City’s first, and several pieces celebrate the area’s maritime heritage and conservation. Look for the interactive Victorian Parlor mural, designed as a photo stop, and share your pictures with the LovePC hashtag. Use the online list to plan a route, since the murals are spread between two neighborhoods, and wear comfortable shoes and carry water in summer if you plan to explore on foot.
