2 Birds Coffee + Cafe
About
A married couple from Louisiana opened 2 Birds Coffee + Cafe in 2017 after moving from Washington, D.C. back to the Gulf Coast, wanting their kids to grow up with the sense of community that comes from living in a small town rather than a big city. That motivation shaped the cafe they built near Seascape in Miramar Beach: a small, casual space where the owners still work behind the counter and greet regulars by name.

Coffee is the heart of the menu. The espresso bar turns out a Birdie Cold Brew and a matcha latte alongside flavored lattes in vanilla and caramel, and the drink list extends into the afternoon with wine and beer for anyone settling in past breakfast. Breakfast and lunch stay simple by design: eggs and toast, sandwiches, salads, and plates rather than an overloaded menu, made fresh with ingredients the owners say they actually believe in.
Specific dishes have built a following well beyond the immediate neighborhood. The breakfast tacos and the Breakfast Sammy, served with fresh fruit and avocado, show up repeatedly in customer reviews, alongside French toast and an avocado toast finished with red pepper flakes, walnut oil, pistachios, and flaky salt. For something sweeter, a fried PB&J made with almond butter, blueberry, banana, and honey sits next to cinnamon sugar donuts, blackberry lavender scones, and chocolate chip cookies on the pastry case.

The cafe describes its own look as simple yet sophisticated, and that shows in small touches: staff have been known to hand a guest a scone or muffin to eat by the water, book clubs meet at the tables, and the room works equally well for a sit down breakfast or a grab and go coffee on the way to the beach. Unlike many coffee shops packed into busy beach-road plazas, this location offers free, unlimited parking in its plaza, a real advantage during the Miramar Beach rush.
Beyond the daily counter service, the cafe also caters private events, building fully customized menus rather than offering fixed packages. That flexibility covers boat day lunches, brunches, dinners, and weddings, making it a option worth calling ahead about for groups visiting the Sandestin and Seascape area for a longer stay.
Miramar Beach sits due east of downtown Destin, with Highway 98 linking the two roughly nine miles apart, and it keeps its own ZIP code, 32550, even though many visitors lump it in with Destin proper. That makes 2 Birds a convenient stop for anyone staying on the Miramar Beach or Sandestin side of the bridge rather than driving back toward the harbor for coffee. Its Seascape Drive address puts it a short drive from Seascape’s golf courses and the beach access points that line this stretch of the Gulf.
2 Birds Coffee + Cafe is located at 80 Seascape Dr, Unit 103, in Miramar Beach, FL 32550, and can be reached at 850-279-3375. It is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with the cafe closed on Tuesdays. Full menu and catering details are posted at 2birdscafe.com. For anyone staying near Seascape Golf Club or the Sandestin resort area, this cafe makes an easy breakfast stop before heading to the sand, and the guaranteed parking spot is reason enough to choose it over a beachfront alternative on a crowded Saturday morning.
