About
Camille’s at Crystal Beach is two restaurants in one building on Scenic Highway 98 in Destin’s Crystal Beach neighborhood. Downstairs, the cafe serves breakfast, lunch and smoothies to a beach crowd. Upstairs, the restaurant turns to Gulf seafood, steaks and sushi at dinner, with views of the open kitchen and the Gulf.
The story
Founder Charles Morgan named Camille’s for his grandmother and mother, known in the family as Big Camille and Little Camille. The same family runs Harbor Docks, and Camille’s Gulf to Table seafood comes off the boats at the family’s Harbor Docks seafood market. Executive sushi chef Yoshie Eddings leads the sushi program.
Good to know
- Cafe hours: breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
- Restaurant hours: dinner daily from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- Live music: at the cafe on Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
- Private events: the main dining room holds 50 guests.
