Rather than walk away from generations of coastal work, Dewey and his wife Rebecca, together with his sister Nina, opened retail seafood markets and eventually turned that experience into a string of casual seafood restaurants built on the same fish the family had spent generations catching.

Dewey Destin’s Navarre opened in 2018 as the family’s push beyond its original Destin restaurants, bringing that same seafood tradition to a fast casual, order at the window setting on the sound side of Navarre Beach.
