Fish Heads

Fish Heads is a covered, open-air deck 32 feet above the sand behind the Fairfield Inn & Suites Pensacola Beach, with a clear view down the Gulf side of Pensacola Beach. The old pool bar reopened in July 2023, and it’s an easy walk-in lunch for anyone on the beach, not just hotel guests.

What to order

• Fish tacos with the fresh catch, grilled, blackened or fried
• Margarita shrimp tacos and the Yankee nachos
• The Farm Burger with bacon jam, or grouper bites
• The Fish Heads Bucket, a five-rum drink to share

Good to know

• Hours: daily, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s a seasonal operation, so check before you go in winter.
• Access: there’s an elevator, and a dune walkover leads straight to the beach.
• Seating: 119 seats, walk-ins only, and a full bar.

It’s run by Innisfree Hotels, which also owns Salt at the Hilton.
