Louisiana Lagniappe
About
Louisiana Lagniappe has served Gulf seafood and steaks with a Creole flair in Destin since 1984. It sits inside the Sandpiper Cove community on Holiday Isle, in a casual but upscale waterfront dining room with views over the water toward the Destin Harbor. It’s a dinner-only restaurant, and the sunset is part of the meal.
What to order
The signature dish is Grouper Louisianne. The menu leans on Louisiana treatments of Gulf fish, from blackened redfish to Mardi Gras shrimp, alongside steaks and a house-made bread pudding for dessert.

Getting there
The restaurant is inside the gated Sandpiper Cove community at 775 Gulf Shore Drive. Tell the guard at the gate you’re coming for dinner. There’s free self-parking, with valet on busy nights.
