Beach House Condominiums

Beach House Condominiums is a Gulf-front condo complex on Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, the beach community just east of Destin. The four-story buildings sit directly on the sand, and the heated pool overlooks the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

Built in 1979, Beach House has 48 condominiums, according to association and county records compiled by Emerald Coast Condo Map. Rentals include one-bedroom, one-bathroom units that sleep four and two-bedroom, two-bathroom units that sleep six to eight, each with a balcony facing the Gulf.

Shared amenities are generous for a low-rise complex. The grounds include a heated pool overlooking the beach, a kiddie pool, hot tubs, a barbecue area, a fitness center, a clubhouse, a gazebo with a picnic area, shuffleboard, and lighted tennis courts, along with elevators and gated entry. Some rental companies include seasonal beach service of two chairs and an umbrella.

The Surf Hut, a casual beachfront restaurant, is within walking distance, and Scenic Gulf Drive has a paved path for walking and biking. Silver Sands Premium Outlets, the Village of Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin are a short drive east, and Destin’s harbor, restaurants and attractions are a short drive west.

Beach House suits couples and families who want an easygoing low-rise complex on the beach with plenty of shared amenities. The one-bedroom units work well for couples and small families, while the tennis courts, clubhouse and kiddie pool give families more to do on site.
