Comfort Inn & Suites Panama City North, formerly known as the Comfort Inn and Suites Panama City Mall, is a three-story, 69-room hotel on Jenks Avenue in north Panama City. The Junior Museum of Bay County is under a mile away, the Science and Discovery Center is about a mile, Linos Park is under two miles and Florida State University Panama City is roughly four miles southwest. The Panama City Beach sand is about 20 minutes by car.
A free breakfast is served every morning. Rooms include coffee makers, mini fridges and 42 inch TVs with premium channels. The hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool, a gym, a business center and guest laundry, and the front desk is open around the clock.
Parking is free and includes room for RVs, buses and trucks, which helps visiting sports teams and work crews. Wi-Fi is free. Pets are not allowed, apart from service animals. Wi-Fi speeds are listed at over 100 Mbps, which is handy for remote work, and the pool is open from 9 am to 10 pm in season.
It is a solid value stay for families visiting the museums and parks on the north side of town, college visitors, and business travelers heading to 23rd Street or downtown. Tyndall Air Force Base is about 25 minutes east, and Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is a drive of a little under 40 minutes.
