Comfort Suites Panama City near Tyndall AFB is a three-story, 68-suite hotel on North Tyndall Parkway in the Callaway area on the east side of Panama City. Tyndall Air Force Base is about eight minutes south, the Saint Andrews Shopping Center is two miles away and George Park is under three miles. Restaurants including Chick-fil-A are within a short walk.
A free hot breakfast buffet is served daily from 6 to 9 am, and there is a coffee shop on site. Suites have refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers and flat screen TVs, with a little more room than a standard hotel room. The indoor pool is usable year round, and there is a 24-hour gym, a business center and guest laundry. McDonald’s and Pizza Hut are also a few minutes away for easy dinners.
Parking is free and includes RV, bus and truck spaces, and Wi-Fi is free. Pets are not allowed, and the front desk is staffed around the clock.
The hotel suits military personnel and families visiting Tyndall, contractors and crews working on the east side of the county, and road trippers traveling US 98 along the coast toward Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe. Downtown Panama City is about 15 minutes west, and the Panama City Beach sand is roughly 30 minutes away. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 45 minutes by car.
