Courtyard by Marriott Panama City is a three-story, 84-room hotel on East 23rd Place, a quiet side street off the 23rd Street business corridor near the hospitals, restaurants and shops of north Panama City. It opened in 2006. Linos Park is under a mile away, and the Panama City Beach sand is about a 20 minute drive.
The Bistro serves breakfast and dinner along with evening cocktails, and a Starbucks counter covers coffee through the day. There is an outdoor pool with a whirlpool, a 24-hour fitness center, a small market, a business center and meeting space. Rooms have work desks and quality bedding, and Wi-Fi is free for Marriott Bonvoy members.
Parking is on site, with accessible spaces available. Up to two dogs are welcome for a one-time fee. The hotel is smoke free, has elevators throughout, and staff include American Sign Language speakers. The minimum check-in age is 21.
It suits business travelers, medical visitors and Tyndall Air Force Base guests who want a full breakfast and dinner option on site, and families who prefer a quieter in-town base with the beach and downtown marina each a short drive away. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 20 miles away. Check-in is at 3 pm and checkout at 11 am. The hotel earned a Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice award in 2021.
