Days Inn by Wyndham Panama City is a 50-room budget hotel at 1035 East 23rd Street, across from La Quinta in the busy commercial district on the north side of town. The hotel describes itself as newly renovated. Restaurants and shops line 23rd Street in both directions, the downtown marina is about 15 minutes south and the Panama City Beach sand is roughly 20 minutes away.
A free grab and go breakfast with coffee, tea and juice is set out each morning. Rooms have flat screen TVs with premium channels, refrigerators and microwaves. The property has an outdoor pool, a small fitness room, a business center, a banquet hall and a meeting room. There is no elevator, so upper floor rooms are reached by stairs.
Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Pets are not allowed. Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 9:30 am, and the front desk is staffed around the clock for late arrivals.
Guest reviews are mixed, with the location rated well and room condition drawing complaints, so it is a better match for travelers who value a low-cost stay and a central spot over polish. It works for road trippers, visitors to the nearby hospitals and colleges, and sports families who plan to be out most of the day. Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport is about 18 miles away, and Tyndall Air Force Base is about 20 minutes east.
