Grandview

Grandview is a small, gated Gulf-front condominium building off Scenic Gulf Drive in Miramar Beach, just east of Destin. It sits south of the main road directly on the Gulf, with a pool deck that looks over the beach and a private deeded beach below.

Built in 1997, the six-story building holds only 16 condominiums, according to association and county records compiled by Emerald Coast Condo Map. Rentals are oversized three-bedroom, three-bathroom units that sleep up to eight, with private washers and dryers. Rental descriptions call the interiors spacious and relaxed, with panoramic views over the shoreline. The association sets a minimum rental term of seven days.

Shared amenities include a beach-view pool with loungers and dining areas, stainless steel grilling stations with stone patios, elevators and gated entry. Some rental companies include seasonal beach setup on the private beach.

Scenic Gulf Drive has a paved recreation path for walking, jogging and biking. Silver Sands Premium Outlets, the Village of Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin are a short drive east, and Destin Harbor and the beach towns of Scenic 30A are within a reasonable drive.

Grandview suits families and groups who want a spacious three-bedroom condo in a boutique building with very few neighbors. The weeklong minimum makes it a natural fit for traditional week-long stays, and the small number of units keeps the pool and beach quiet even in summer.
