Holiday Inn Panama City is a six-story, 173-room full-service hotel on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at the 23rd Street commercial corridor, directly across from the Panama City Mall. Linos Park is a few minutes’ walk, the Junior Museum of Bay County is about a mile away, and the downtown marina is roughly three miles south.
It is one of the more complete hotels in town for dining. Bellini Cafe and Cocktails serves breakfast, brunch and dinner, and the bar and lounge hosts live music nights. The indoor heated pool and hot tub stay usable in any weather, and there is a 24-hour fitness center and an arcade and game room that keeps kids busy.
Self parking is free. Pets are not allowed, though service animals are welcome. Meeting and event space makes the hotel a regular choice for conferences, reunions and wedding room blocks. Rooms are spread over six floors in a building that dates to 1985, and the hotel draws strong guest reviews for its staff and upkeep.
The 23rd Street location puts restaurants, shopping and the hospitals within a short drive, and Tyndall Air Force Base and the Panama City Beach sand are each about 20 to 25 minutes away. It suits business travelers, families visiting relatives in town and groups who want a restaurant and bar under the same roof.
