Inn on Destin Harbor, an Ascend Collection Hotel, sits on the water along Harbor Boulevard (US 98) in Destin’s harbor district, among the charter fishing docks and waterfront restaurants that give the town its nickname as the World’s Luckiest Fishing Village. The Destin Harbor Boardwalk begins a minute’s walk away, with restaurants, bars and fishing and dolphin cruise boats lining the water. HarborWalk Village is under a mile west, and Crab Island is a short boat or paddle trip from the harbor. The Gulf beaches, Big Kahuna’s and Henderson Beach State Park are a short drive east.
